Frequently Asked Questions

How many squares should I use?

1-2 squares depending on the size of the room & also how strong you would like the scent.

How do I use wax melts?

Place 1 or 2 pieces of bottle the scents wax melt into your burner, light your tea light candle to heat & melt the wax, Releasing the fragrance filling the room with a beautiful aroma. Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

What wax & Glitter do you use?

We use kerasoy pillar blend wax, This blend is biodegradable and vegan friendly, No animal products or animal testing has been carried out during manufacturing. The glitter we use in some of our products is biodegradable.

Why do some of the wax melts have some white on them?

This is called frosting. It is actually a unique and natural effect of using 100% soy wax. We do try our hardest to try and prevent this where we can but it isn't always possible. The wax is trying to return back to its natural form.

Are you insured and CLP compliant?

Yes we are both insured and CLP compliant.

Why are products out of stock?

We aim to update our products on a weekly basis. If any of our products are out of stock, drop us a message and we will update you. 

Returning an item

If you are not satisfied with the product you purchased, email us @ tasha@bottlethescent.com. You are entitled to a full reimbursement within 14 days of your purchase, and the products needs to be in the same condition as you received it.  After this time you will no longer be able to receive a refund. Return postage must be covered by the customer

How long is delivery

We aim to deliver between 3-5 working days with 2nd class royal mail. Our boxes fit through the letter box so NO NEED to wait in.
